With nine stops across Gainesville and a whole lot of researchers, the mobile market is part of an ongoing study at the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.

New Program Links Fresh Produce With Folks Who Need It

A trailer filled with carrots, strawberries, sweet potatoes, lettuce and other fresh vegetables was parked outside a northeast Gainesville church Saturday as part of a new effort to bring healthy food to people who might not be able to get to it — and to help farmers in the process.
And the Fresh Wagon Mobile Farm Market will be pulling up to several other spots in Alachua County this week and later this month.
